These are the ones who really appreciate being remembered at Christmas.“It’s true that at Christmas people tend to focus on the children and I know those struggling do appreciate the help. But I think about the residents that I have the joy to know.” TH&R has an annual Christmas party for its residents and all of the residents receive a gift from Santa.“Santa passes out the gifts before the party by going room to room and spending some time with each resident,” Dawkins said.“It would be great if our community would once again help by sponsoring a resident.
