Arguably the most-anticipated game of the year will be the Crimson Tide vs. the Sooners. The Heisman Trophy-winner and Heisman Trophy-runner-up will be on the field as the quarterbacks from both programs lead potent offenses. Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray close the season with a flourish to win the Heisman while Tua Tagovailoa suffered an injury in the SEC title game that might have cost him the trophy.Since suffering the high ankle sprain, Tua has been rehabbing like a mad man and looks poised to be near 100-percent when the Tide take the field next weekend. On Saturday, Tagovailoa spoke with ESPN’s Maria Taylor and gave an update on his recovery, via 247Sports.“I’ve been hitting on all cylinders. I’ve had the opportunity to run some. I’ve been able to work on my footwork a little bit.”Nick Saban said he expects Tua to be 100-percent by the time Alabama takes on Oklahoma. It looks like the Sooners will face a fully-healthy Alabama side looking for back-to-back titles.[247Sports]last_img read more
